ProCare Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Rosa Caeca Labs, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") handles information within the ProCare Android application ("the App").
ProCare is architected on a strict local-first model. We believe your health and care coordination data belongs entirely to you.
1. Data Collection and Storage
We do not collect, transmit, distribute, monetize, or sell any personal information or health records.
- Local Storage Only: All data entered into ProCare—including patient profiles, care coordination notes, medical schedules, logs, and clinical reminders—is stored exclusively in local database storage on your device.
- No Remote Servers or Cloud Sync: ProCare does not operate, connect to, or synchronize with external cloud servers or remote databases.
- No User Accounts: The App does not require account creation, logins, or contact registration.
2. Data Retention and Deletion
Because ProCare does not store your data on external servers, data retention is entirely under your local physical control:
- You may delete individual records or profiles at any time directly within the App's user interface.
- Clearing the App's data/storage through Android Settings or uninstalling ProCare from your device will permanently and irreversibly erase all stored records.
3. Permissions and Device Features
ProCare requests specific Android system permissions strictly to execute local features. No data accessed via these permissions is ever transmitted off your device:
- Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Used solely to display local reminders for care tasks, medications, and appointments.
- Alarms (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM): Required to trigger time-critical reminders reliably at the user-specified moment.
- Startup (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED): Used to reschedule active local alarms and reminder notifications if the device restarts.
- Biometric Hardware (USE_BIOMETRIC): If enabled by the user to secure local App access, authentication is executed directly by Android's secure operating system framework. ProCare never accesses, processes, or stores biometric identifiers.
4. Data Export and Sharing
ProCare provides tools allowing you to export care data (such as CSV or report files) to facilitate communication with healthcare providers.
- Export generation is entirely user-initiated and executed locally on the device.
- Files are shared exclusively through Android's native system share sheet. You choose the destination and transmission method. We do not have access to, visibility over, or copies of exported files.
5. Third-Party Services and Analytics
ProCare contains no third-party telemetry, tracking libraries, user analytics SDKs, or advertising networks.
6. Medical Disclaimer
Not a Medical Device: ProCare is an organizational and informational tool designed for care coordination and personal logging. ProCare is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, manage, or prevent any disease or medical condition. It does not provide medical advice or substitute for professional medical judgment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider regarding clinical concerns.
7. Changes to This Policy
If we update this Privacy Policy, we will post the revised version with an updated "Effective Date" at this URL and reflect the change within the App's information settings.
